Karmasutra | Visual Novel Meets RPG


Karmasutra is visual novel/RPG recently released by Top Hat Studios, Inc. The game adds some spice to the normal VN platform with D&D inspired RPG elements  in the mix. You play as a character recently awoken in a heavenly realm known as Tittva. This will test you and push you too the limits as you and other sinners seek to pass this challenge and enter Nirvana

With a unique turn based combat system, you can fight or flee to decide your fate. However be careful, with the tendency to have you opponents clothes rip apart in almost every battle, your encounters could all become rather interesting. On steam the game comes with a free uncensored patch available in the workshop. Bucking the trend of other developers attempting to charge more money for such updates.

“Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls” is Now Available on Steam

The third game in the Danganronpa series, and also the first spinoff, has been released to Steam!

Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is a third-person shooter from the perspective of Komaru Naegi. Travel through the city with Toko Fukawa while solving riddles and puzzles, trying out different types of ammo, and surviving against the endless hordes of Monokumas.

“Komaru Naegi, little sister to Makoto Naegi, has been imprisoned inside a mysterious apartment for over a year. One day, she is rescued by Byakuya Togami of Future Foundation, but the rescue is derailed by a sudden attack of hundreds of Monokumas. Komaru soon discovers that the city has been taken over by a group of children calling themselves the Warriors of Hope. Their leader, Monaca, declares that the city will be the site of a “children’s paradise,” and to accomplish this, all the adults will be exterminated. Komaru teams up with Toko Fukawa to try to survive the rampaging Monokumas, escape the crafty Monokuma Kids, and uncover the secrets of the city.”

The game is available with both Japanese and English audio and can be purchased from the Steam store for $29.99. It can also be purchased in the Absolute Despair Collection bundle, along with the first two Danganronpa games, for a total of $80.87. This bundle usually features a 10% discount, but thanks to the Steam Summer Sale, the bundle of three games can be purchased for only $53.97 until July 5.

“Bayonetta” Launches to PC Through Steam

Love, Guitars, and the Nashville Skyline, a casual yuri visual novel developed by Cosmillica and published by Sekai Project, is now available on Steam! The visual novel comes with full Japanese audio and English subtitles.

“A Magical High School Girl” and “Japanese School Life” Game Demos are now Available on Steam


Sekai Project has put two new game demos up onto Steam today: A Magical High School Girl, developed by illuCalab, and Japanese School Life, developed by code:jp!

A Magical High School Girl is a casual, indie, adventure RPG where you play as a high school girl who is lost in a magical world on her way home. She must survive attacks from strange monsters by using her magic and crafting skills. This game comes with Japanese audio along with the choice of either English or Japanese subtitles.

The game is described on Steam below:

“The magic beckons you.” A Magical High School Girl is a magic crafting rogue-like RPG! The only weapon you possess is the magic you conjure from within. You can freely name your magic. The elemental properties and effects are generated automatically with what you typed in.

Develop the magics you obtain, gain magics from magic stones within the dungeon, and combine to develop even stronger magics.


Japanese School Life is a casual visual novel where you play as Brian, a transfer student, as he tries to get used to Japanese customs while spending a year in a Japanese high school. This game comes with Japanese audio and the option to choose either English or Japanese text, the e-mote system (a feature you may recognize from games like Nekopara), and Nekomimi Mode.

The game is described on Steam below:

Welcomed by the fluttering of cherry blossom, the main character, Brian, starts a new high school life in Japan. Brian soon starts to get along with two girls in the same class after they start to talk to him. With their help, Brian gradually learns Japanese culture and customs.

He deepens his friendships with each girl as they teach him how to study and spend time together after school. He gradually is able to survive through the commuter rush, May sickness, the rainy season, and more as he experiences Japanese culture for the first time.

Both demos are available to download now. The full game for A Magical High School Girl will be available on November 18, and the full game for Japanese School Life will be available on November 22.

“AL・FINE” is now Available on Steam


AL・FINE, a simulation role-playing game developed by CrimsonRabbit and published by Sekai Project, has recently been added to Steam!

In this simulation RPG, you play as Louis as he tries to grow his store and overpower his competition. You can customize your store, overtake rival shops, hire adventurers to search for goods in dungeons for you, and become the number one merchant in Notte Luce!
