PV Released for “Toaru Majutsu no Virtual-On” Game

SEGA and Dengeki Bunko are collaborating on a video game adaptation of Toaru Majustu no Virtual-On, a crossover light novel between the Toaru series and the arcade game series of Dennou Senki Virtual On.

This promotional video previews some of the mecha battling and gameplay. Misaka Mikoto, Shirai Kuroko, Accelerator, Shokuhou Misaki, Kamijou Touma, and Index are confirmed as playable characters with their own unique fighting machines.

Toaru Majutsu no Virtual-On will be released to the PS4 and PS Vita on February 15, 2018 in Japan. Regular and limited edition versions are available for each platform. The regular PS4 version is priced at 7,990 yen (about $71.65) before tax and the limited edition is 12,490 yen (about $112.00) before tax. The regular PS Vita version is 6,990 yen (about $62.68) before tax, while the limited edition version is 10,990 yen (about $98.55) before tax.

“The [email protected] Stella Stage” Game Announced with PV

Bandai Namco has released an announcement video for their upcoming PS4 game, The [email protected] Stella Stage!

This game is focused on the girls at 765 Productions. The player takes over the Producer role and tries their best to make each girl in the agency succeed by balancing idol activities, concerts, practice, coaching, and time off.

The [email protected] Stella Stage will be released to the PS4 on December 21 in Japan.

The game will be released with a regular packaged version, priced at 8,200 yen (about $73.58) before tax, and a limited edition first run version, priced at 12,980 yen (about $116.47) before tax. This limited edition version will come with a variety of 765 Production-themed bonuses.

3rd PV Released for “Juuni Taisen” TV Anime

Avex Pictures has released its third promotional video for the Juuni Taisen TV anime adaptation. The video previews the series’ opening theme, “Rapture” by Panorama Panama Town, as well as some of the fight scenes.

The synopsis is listed as:

“Rampage. Weep. Kill. Every 12 years, the 12 signs of the Chinese zodiac take the form of warriors and engage in the ultimate battle royal. They face one another in battles to the death, using all the powers of their star signs, and the sole survivor is granted the ultimate prize—a wish. Any wish.”

Juuni Taisen will begin airing on October 3.

“Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shou” Receives New Key Visual

The official website for the Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shou TV anime has been updated with another key visual! This visual depicts the seven group members happily performing in a live show together. Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shou will continue from where the Wake Up, Girls! story left off.

The synopsis for Wake Up, Girls! is listed below:

“On Christmas 2013, the band Wake Up, Girls plays their debut song to a small audience without much fanfare. After the concert, the group’s manager takes off with the money, leaving Green Leaves Entertainment on the verge of closure and the band without a future. Despite this tumultuous beginning, the girls get a second chance, thanks to a mysterious benefactor and a shady business proposal. From here it’s a rocky climb to the top, but it’s a climb the girls are ready to make. Wake Up, Girls! follows the internal and external struggles of being a small-time idol girl band, from finding and accepting gigs to competing in popularity against other pop bands.”

Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shou will begin airing on October 9.

Two New Key Visuals for “Girls’ Last Tour” TV Anime

The official Twitter account for the Girls’ Last Tour (Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou) anime adaptation has uploaded two new beautiful key visuals!

For those unfamiliar with the series, Yen Press describes the synopsis as:

“Civilization is dead, but not Chito and Yuuri. Time to hop aboard their beloved Kettenkrad motorbike and wander what’s left of the world! Sharing a can of soup or scouting for spare parts might not be the experience they were hoping for, but all in all, life isn’t too bad…”

Girls’ Last Tour will premiere on October 6.

PV Released for “Osomatsu-san” Season 2

Osomatsu-san has received its first promotional video for the upcoming second season! The short video quickly goes over each of the six identical siblings with a few clips of the other characters sprinkled in. The voice cast for the sextuplets will remain the same from season one.

Season 2 will begin airing on October 2.

“BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle” Trailer Introduces Jin Kisaragi, Yosuke Hanamura, and Linne to the Roster

Arc System Works has released a new character introduction trailer for their upcoming crossover tag team fighting game BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle!

The trailer introduces three new characters to the roster: Jin Kisaragi (BlazBlue), Yosuke Hanamura (Persona 4 Arena), and Linne, the female protagonist from the Japanese arcade game UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH. These three will be joining the previously announced Ragna the Bloodedge (BlazBlue), Yu Narukami (Persona 4 Arena), Hyde (UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH), and Ruby Rose (RWBY) playable characters.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is scheduled for release sometime in 2018. More information is expected soon.
