“Koisuru Shirokuma” Gets 1st PV

The first promotional video for the upcoming Koisuru Shirokuma anime adaptation has been released! The 1-minute video previews the two main character’s voices and gives a small glimpse of the dynamic between them. Natsuki Hanae will be voicing Azarashi (the seal) and Yuuichirou Umehara will be voicing Shirokuma (the polar bear). Koisuru Shirokuma, or Polar Bear in Love, began as a web manga back in December 2014 by Koromo.

MyAnimeList describes the synopsis below:

“A polar bear falls in love with an earless seal, and he wants nothing else except to protect him, even though the seal constantly thinks the bear will eat him.”

The anime will begin airing on March 4.

PV Released for “Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry” Film

A new promotional video has been uploaded for Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry, the series’ second film!

The staff members behind this film are Tatsuma Minamikawa as director, Shouji Yonemura as script writer, Yuuko Yamada as character designer, Yasuharu Takanashi for music, and A-1 Pictures as the animation production studio. Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Gray, Erza, Wendy, and Charle’s voice actors will be reprising their roles. The voice actors for the three new original characters, Sonya, Zash, and Animus, have yet to be announced.

An official website for the film has also been launched along with some character designs.

Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry will open in theaters on May 6.

Mobile Rhythm Game “VOEZ” Coming Out on Nintendo Switch.

VOEZ, a popular mobile rhythm game(that I personally love),  was announced as one of Japan’s launch games for the Nintendo Switch’s eShop. Luckily, we were able to find out that it was gonna be released over in the West by the game’s localization company.

New Key Visual for “Berserk” Season 2

Berserk (2017), sequel to Berserk (2016), has received a new key visual as the air date draws nearer.

MyAnimeList describes the synopsis of the series below:

“Now branded for death and destined to be hunted by demons until the day he dies, Guts embarks on a journey to defy such a gruesome fate, as waves of beasts relentlessly pursue him. Steeling his resolve, he takes up the monstrous blade Dragonslayer and vows to exact vengeance on the one responsible, hunting down the very man he once looked up to and considered a friend.

Along the way, he encounters some unlikely allies, such as a small elf named Puck, and Isidro, a young thief looking to learn swordsmanship from the former mercenary. As the ragtag group slowly comes together after having decided to join Guts in his quest, they will face incredible danger unlike anything they have ever experienced before.”

Berserk (2017) will air on April 7.

“Little Witch Academia” BD/DVDs to Include English Subtitles

The official Little Witch Academia Twitter account has announced that the Blu-ray/DVDs of the television series will include English subtitles! Each volume is priced at 6,800 yen plus tax (roughly $60.28) for the Blu-ray, and 5,800 yen plus tax (roughly $51.41) for the DVD.

Volume 1 will be released on April 19.

Key Visual, Cast, and Staff Released for “Boruto -Naruto Next Generations-” Anime

The anime adaptation of the Boruto -Naruto Next Generation- manga series has received a new key visual, cast, and staff list.

Yuuko Sanpei is cast as Uzumaki Boruto, Kokoro Kikuchi is cast as Uchiha Sarada, Ryuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, Kenshou Ono as Nara Shikadai, Ryoko Shiraishi as Akimichi Chouchou, Atsushi Abe as Yamanaka Inojin, Junko Takeuchi as Uzumaki Naruto, Nana Mizuki as Hyuuga Hinata, Saori Hayami as Uzumaki Himawari, Shoutaro Morikubo as Nara Shikamaru, and Shinji Kawada as Aburame Shino. The staff list includes Noriyuki Abe as general director, Hiroyuki Yamashita as director, Ukyo Kodachi as story supervisor, Makoto Uezu as series composition, Tetsuya Nishio and Hirofumi Suzuki as character designers, Yasuharu Takanashi for music, and Studio Pierrot will be behind the animation production.

The synopsis can be found below from Viz Media:

“Naruto was a young shinobi with an incorrigible knack for mischief. He achieved his dream to become the greatest ninja in the village and his face sits atop the Hokage monument. But this is not his story… A new generation of ninja are ready to take the stage, led by Naruto’s own son, Boruto!”

Boruto will start airing on April 5.

New Characters PV for “Fire Emblem: Heroes” Mobile Game

Nintendo has uploaded a new promotional video for Fire Emblem: Heroes to their Youtube channel. The video shows off six new heroes being added to the game. The new added heroes include Eldigan and Lachesis of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, Reinhardt and Olwen of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, Klein of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, and Sanaki of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. New “Sibling Bonds” stories have also been added.

“Danmachi Gaiden: Sword Oratoria” TV Anime Gets Key Visual and Website

The official website for the Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka Gaiden: Sword Oratoria (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Gaiden: Sword Oratoria) television anime has officially launched along with a key visual! This side story will focus on Aiz Wallenstein and her party of Loki Familia members.

MyAnimeList lists the synopsis as:

“Sword princess Aiz Wallenstein. Today, once again, the strongest female swordsman heads to the giant labyrinth known as the “Dungeon” along with her allies. On the 50th floor where mysteries and threats such as a decayed dragon’s corpse that crumbles to ash and an irregularity that creeps ever closer to the party loom, Aiz calls for the wind and heads deeper into the darkness of the Dungeon. Eventually, she finds herself meeting a boy for the first time. “Um, are you OK?” In the Labyrinth City of Orario, the contrasting stories of the boy and the girl intersect!”

The anime will premiere on April 15.
