The official website for the Akiba’s Trip TV anime has posted a new promotional video, key visual, and announced an air date. The anime is an adaptation of the popular action game released in November 2013. It is available on the PS Vita, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The plot of the Akiba’s Trip game is described on Steam below:

“In Tokyo’s popular ”Electric Town” district, Akihabara, vampires called “Synthisters” walk among us. You must identify and dispose of them the only way you know how – by engaging them in hand-to-hand combat in order to strip them of their clothes so their bodies melt away in the sunlight.”

The game is currently on Steam for $29.99. The anime series will begin in January 2017.

You can see the PV and key visual after the break! Saucy warning.

    WOAH
I didn’t know there was an Akiba’s Trip anime coming. Dope.

  • Hey, I think the anime was good so maybe this’ll be

Do anime’s based off of video games ever do good? I’m curious.

Persona 4 did reasonable well. I’m sure there’s other examples, but they do fine from what I understand. They tend to be pretty faithful, although this one looks to be completely different from the games so idk.

I’m confused, what is this? *reading reading* I’m getting some major Asterisk Wars vibes
