2nd PV Released for “Fullmetal Alchemist” Live Action Film

A second promotional video has been uploaded for the Fullmetal Alchemist live action film adaptation! Edward and Alphonse Elric’s characters, both young and older, are previewed in the short trailer. The film’s plot will be based on the storyline from the manga series by Hiromu Arakawa.

For those unfamiliar with the story, the synopsis can be found below:

“Alchemists are knowledgeable and naturally talented individuals who can manipulate and modify matter due to their art. Yet despite the wide range of possibilities, alchemy is not as all-powerful as most would believe. Human transmutation is strictly forbidden, and whoever attempts it risks severe consequences. Even so, siblings Edward and Alphonse Elric decide to ignore this great taboo and bring their mother back to life. Unfortunately, not only do they fail in resurrecting her, they also pay an extremely high price for their arrogance: Edward loses his left leg and Alphonse his entire body. Furthermore, Edward also gives up his right arm in order to seal his brother’s soul into a suit of armor.

Years later, the young alchemists travel across the country looking for the Philosopher’s Stone, in the hopes of recovering their old bodies with its power. However, their quest for the fated stone also leads them to unravel far darker secrets than they could ever imagine.”

The film will open in theaters on December 1.

The series began as a manga and was first published in February 2011. It is currently ongoing and is also being published in English through Seven Seas Entertainment.

The difference is she’s a centaur; but she’s not alone. In fact, all of her classmates are supernatural creatures, sporting either horns, wings, tails, halos, or some other unearthly body appendage. Yet despite their fantastical natures, Himeno and her best friends-the dragon-winged Nozomi, and Kyoko with her spiraled horns-are down-to-earth, fun-loving teenagers who grapple with issues of life and love in a mostly normal daily school setting.”

Centaur no Nayami will begin airing in July 2017.

Visual Released for “High School Fleet” x “World of Warships” Collaboration

The popular free online battleship game, World of Warships, is getting a set of premium ships inspired by the High School Fleet (Haifuri) series! Destroyer HSF “Harekaze” and cruiser HSF “Graf Spee” are headed towards the game’s Premium Shop soon.

Each warship is replicated from their depictions in the anime and come with special Commander voice lines using the anime’s voice cast. The ships will be available in the Premium Shop once High School Fleet‘s Blu-ray releases.

For those unfamiliar with the series, the synopsis is listed below:

“Living by the sea, protecting the sea, and journeying across the sea… They’re the Blue Mermaids!

Because of a shift in tectonic plates around 100 years ago, Japan lost much of its area to submergence. To preserve Japan’s territories, coastal cities sprung up, one after the other. Eventually, they became marine cities, and along with the expansion of sea-lanes to connect them, the need arose for a sizable staff to protect the seas.

At the same time, maritime jobs were becoming more popular among women. Hence, the Blue Mermaids, tasked with keeping the seas safe, had become every female student’s dream job. This is when childhood friends Akeno Misaki and Moeka China enroll in a marine high school in Yokosuka, along with other girls who share their goal of becoming a Blue Mermaid.”

You can find an image of the chosen ships after the break!
