New Key Visual and PV for “Boku no Hero Academia” Season 2

A new key visual and promotional video have appeared as season 2 of Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) draws closer! The video previews the season’s opening theme, “Peace Sign”, by Yonezu Kenshi. The ending theme will be performed by Little Glee Monster.

Season 2 will begin airing on March 25.

New Key Visual for “Fate/Apocrypha” TV Anime

A new key visual has been released for A-1 Picture‘s anime adaptation of the Fate/Apocrypha light novel series.

The synopsis can be found below:

“The setting is a parallel world to Fate/stay night where the Greater Grail mysteriously disappeared from Fuyuki after the Third Holy Grail War. After many years of silence, around the same time as the Fifth Holy Grail War would have happened, the Yggdmillennia, a family of magi, openly declares their secession from the Mage’s Association, and that they are in possession of the Grail. The Association dispatches fifty magi to retrieve it, and all but one are instantly slaughtered by a mysterious Servant. The one remaining manages to activate the reserve system of the Greater Grail, allowing for the summoning of fourteen Servants in total.

In the city of Trifas, two factions will fight for the control of the sacred relic, each of them possessing their own team of seven Servants : the Black Faction whose members are part of Yggdmillennia, protecting the Grail, and the Red Faction whose members were sent by the Mage’s Association, trying to take the Grail back. For an event of this scale, the Grail itself summons its own Servant, the holy Ruler, to oversee the conflict.

This marks the start of the Great Holy Grail War.”

Fate/Apocrypha will begin airing sometime in 2017.

1st PV Released for “Mary and the Witch’s Flower”

The first trailer has been uploaded for Studio Ponoc’s debut film, Mary and the Witch’s Flower!

Studio Ponoc was founded in April 2015 shortly after Studio Ghibli’s production halt. Many former Ghibli animators and staff members left to help found it. Their first film, Mary and the Witch’s Flower, is based on the children’s novel, The Little Broomstick, written by Mary Stewart.

The trailer previews the film’s animation, plot, and the theme song, “Fly-by-Night”. The film’s staff include Riko Sakaguchi and Hiromasa Yonebashi as screenplay writers, Takatsuugu Muramatsu in charge of music, Yoshiaki Nishimura as producer, and Hiromasa Yonebashi as director.

“Tsugumomo” Anime Gets PV and Key Visual

The official website for the Tsugumomo anime adaptation has uploaded a key visual and promotional video for the upcoming series. Tsugumomo began as a manga in November 2007 by Yoshikadu Hamada and was published in Monthly Action Magazine. It had a brief English publication through JManga before the site closed down with only two volumes translated.

The series’ synopsis can be found below:

“Kazuya Kagami never goes anywhere without the precious “Fukurobi” his mother gave him. One day a beautiful, kimono-clad girl named Kiriha appeared before him. Kiriha naturally began to live with Kazuya in his room. Then there’s Chisato, Kazuya’s childhood friend with glasses and a ponytail, who meddles in his affairs. Soon there’s also an overprotective older sister who seems to want to take baths with him. Jumble in a huge-chested priestess, a good-looking sorceress named Kokuyoura, beautiful women, and hot girls, and Kazuya’s happy, embarrassing, confusing life begins…”

Tsugumomo will begin airing on April 2.

Additional cast members and character designs have been released for studio feel.‘s original TV anime project, Tsuki ga Kirei, just one week after revealing the series’ key visual.

The new cast members include Eishin Fudemura as Roman Yamashina, Makoto Kaneko as Daichi Ogasawara, Misono Suzuki as Setsuko Satou, Haruka Chisuga as Miu Imazu, Honoka Inoue as Sakura Tanaka, Yuuya Hirose as Shou Nagahara, Mark Ishii as Yasuhito Inaba, Haruka Shiraishi as Aoi Takizawa, Kentarou Kumagai as Tsubasa Kaneko, Mutsuki Iwanaka as Daisuke Tachibana, Nao Touyama as Ryouko Sonoda, Kazou Oka as Ryuunosuke Azumi, Kikuko Inoue as Junko Azumi, Manaka Ishimi as Aira Miyamoto, Mitsuo Iwata as Hiroshi Mizuno, Chiwa Saitou as Saori Mizuno, and Ryouko Maekawa as Ayane Mizuno.

“Kotarou Azumi and Akane Mizuno became third year students at junior high school and are classmates for the first time. These two, along with fellow classmates, Chinatsu Nishio and Takumi Hira, relate to their peers through mutual understandings and feelings. The anime staff includes: Hiroyuki Furukawa as director and character designer, Yuichiro Higashida for series composition, and NAZ for the animation production studio.

New PV, Key Visual, and Cast List for “ID-0” TV Anime

A promotional video, key visual, and casting list have been released for Lantis’ upcoming anime, ID-0! The series’ official website and official Twitter account were also launched.

ID-0‘s cast includes: Minami Tsuda as Maya Mikuri, Hisako Kanemoto as Clair Houjou, Kazuyuki Okitsu as ID0, Masaya Matsukaze as RICK AYER, Sayaka Ohara as KARLA MILLA-FODEN, Rikiya Koyama as GRAYMAN, Ari Ozawa as FA-LOSER, Junko Minagawa as AMANZA VOLCHKOVA, and Reina Ueda as Mysterious Girl. The video previews the song, “We are EXCAVATORS!!”, sung by the voice actresses for Maya Mikuri and Clair Houjou.

“Bungou Stray Dogs” Anime Film Announced

The official Bungou Stray Dogs Twitter account has announced that a film is in production! The series is an adaptation of a currently ongoing manga and so far has had two seasons at 12 episodes each and an OVA.

“For weeks, Atsushi Nakajima’s orphanage has been plagued by a mystical tiger that only he seems to be aware of. Suspected to be behind the strange incidents, the 18-year-old is abruptly kicked out of the orphanage and left hungry, homeless, and wandering through the city.

While starving on a riverbank, Atsushi saves a rather eccentric man named Osamu Dazai from drowning. Whimsical suicide enthusiast and supernatural detective, Dazai has been investigating the same tiger that has been terrorizing the boy. Together with Dazai’s partner Doppo Kunikida, they solve the mystery, but its resolution leaves Atsushi in a tight spot. As various odd events take place, Atsushi is coerced into joining their firm of supernatural investigators, taking on unusual cases the police cannot handle, alongside his numerous enigmatic co-workers.”
