2nd PV and Key Visual Released for “Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya” Anime Film

A second promotional video and key visual have been uploaded to the official Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya film website! The 1:30 long video shows off the characters that will appear in the movie and puts emphasis on the film’s two main characters: Shirou Emiya and Miyu Edelfelt.

The movie’s synopsis was posted along with the video:

“I think I will tell you about the story so far.

The world is in the process of destruction. Only the sacrifice of Miyu will be enough to stop it. The world, it is a beautiful place. Ainsworth had asked Illya which she would rather save: the world or Miyu. Illya gives an honest and selfish answer by declaring she would save both. As the long battles come to a momentary pause, their party collects at the house Shirou and Miyu grew up in. The group gathers around as Shirou tells them of his past with Miyu.

She was the Child of God with a powerful wish-granting ability. Shirou hid her away and let her live in the house he shared with Kiritsugu. Five years passed and now the two of them live a peaceful life as brother and sister. But such a time has come to an end. Two people from her birthplace plan to take Miyu back, but before any of that, Julian, who seeks Miyu for his own “miracle”, has made an appearance.

The fate of Miyu, Shirou, and Ainsworth will be told here.”

Gekijouban Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya: Sekka no Chikai, or Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya Movie: Oath Under the Snow, will open in Japanese theaters on August 26.

The video and visual can be found below the cut!

At age 23, Yuuri’s window for success in skating is closing rapidly, and his love of pork cutlets and aptitude for gaining weight are not helping either.

However, Yuuri finds himself in the spotlight when a video of him performing a routine previously executed by five-time world champion, Victor Nikiforov, suddenly goes viral. In fact, Victor himself abruptly appears at Yuuri’s house and offers to be his mentor. As one of his biggest fans, Yuuri eagerly accepts, kicking off his journey to make it back onto the world stage. But the competition is fierce, as the rising star from Russia, Yuri Plisetsky, is relentlessly determined to defeat Yuuri and win back Victor’s tutelage.”

2nd PV Released for “Fullmetal Alchemist” Live Action Film

A second promotional video has been uploaded for the Fullmetal Alchemist live action film adaptation! Edward and Alphonse Elric’s characters, both young and older, are previewed in the short trailer. The film’s plot will be based on the storyline from the manga series by Hiromu Arakawa.

For those unfamiliar with the story, the synopsis can be found below:

“Alchemists are knowledgeable and naturally talented individuals who can manipulate and modify matter due to their art. Yet despite the wide range of possibilities, alchemy is not as all-powerful as most would believe. Human transmutation is strictly forbidden, and whoever attempts it risks severe consequences. Even so, siblings Edward and Alphonse Elric decide to ignore this great taboo and bring their mother back to life. Unfortunately, not only do they fail in resurrecting her, they also pay an extremely high price for their arrogance: Edward loses his left leg and Alphonse his entire body. Furthermore, Edward also gives up his right arm in order to seal his brother’s soul into a suit of armor.

Years later, the young alchemists travel across the country looking for the Philosopher’s Stone, in the hopes of recovering their old bodies with its power. However, their quest for the fated stone also leads them to unravel far darker secrets than they could ever imagine.”
