New 30-Second CM Released for Kyoto Animation’s “Violet Evergarden” Adaptation

A new television commercial has been released for Kyoto Animation’s upcoming Violet Evergarden anime adaptation project. The 30-second video includes more footage than was originally uploaded with the first one and shows off the fluid and beautiful animation this studio has become known for. Waiting for more information is going to be tough.

“Auto Memories Doll.

It’s already been a long time since that name was first popularized. It’s a machine that Dr. Orlando created that talks in a natural voice. At first, he only made it to help out his loving wife, but before long they spread out into the world. and companies were made to lend them out.

“I’m Violet Evergarden, the Auto Memories Doll who will rush to provide service anywhere you wish.”

That translucent voice comes from a robotic beautiful girl with blonde hair and blue eyes like she came out of a storybook.”

The Violet Evergarden light novel series won the grand prize in the 5th Kyoto Animation Award program’s novel category. The novel was published in December 2015 by Kana Akatsuki (story) and Akiko Takase (art).

2nd PV and Key Visual for “The iDOLM@STER SideM” Anime Project

The official website for The iDOLM@STER SideM anime adaptation has released a new promotional video and key visual for the idol unit Beit! The idols Minori Watanabe, Pierre, and Kyoji Takajo make up this prince-themed group.

Last month’s series announcement showed off the DRAMATIC STARS unit comprised of Tsubasa Kashiwagi, Teru Tondo, and Kaoru Sakuraba.

New PV, Visual, Character Designs, Staff, and Cast Revealed for “Knight’s & Magic” TV Anime

The official website for the Knight’s & Magic anime adaptation has uploaded a new promotional video, key visual, character designs, staff, and cast list!

The series’ anime staff will include Yuusuke Yamamoto as director, Michiko Yokote for series composition, Kenichiro Katsura as character designer, Kurogin as mechanical designer (and the original illustrator for the light novel series), Masato Kouda for music, and 8bit as the studio behind animation production.

The voice cast listed so far includes:

  • Rie Takahashi (Emilia from Re:ZERO and Megumin from Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) as Ernesti Echevarria
  • Ayaka Ohashi (Uzuki Shimamura from The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls and Aki Adagaki from Masamune-kun no Revenge) as Adeltrud Olter
  • and Shinsuke Sugawara (Kei Kuramoto from Flying Witch) as Archid Olter.

“A mecha otaku is reincarnated into another world as Ernesti Echevalier, also known as Eru. In this world exists huge humanoid weapons known as Silhouette Knights. Key Visual Released for “Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?” Anime Adaptation

The anime adaptation for Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? (What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?), or SukaSuka for short, has received a new key visual. SukaSuka began as a light novel series in November 2014 with the story written by Akira Kareno and art by ue. The series was completed in April 2016 with 5 volumes released. The sequel, Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Mou Ichido dake, Aemasu ka?, is currently ongoing and was first published on April 1, 2016.

“Five hundred years have passed since the humans went extinct at the hands of the fearsome and mysterious ‘Beasts’. The surviving races now make their homes up on floating islands in the sky, out of reach of all but the most mobile of Beasts.

Key Visual, Cast, and Website Launched for “Mitsuboshi Colors” Anime Adaptation

The official website for the Mitsuboshi Colors television anime adaptation has been launched along with a key visual and main cast list.

Yuuki Takada (Aoba from New Game! and Elma from Maid Dragon) will be voicing Yui, Marika Kouno (Niwaka Denkigai from Akiba’s Trip the Animation and Rin Kohana from Seiyuu’s Life!) will be voicing Sacchan, and Natsumi Hioka (Machi Amayadori from Kuma Miko and Tsukuyo Inaba from the upcoming Busou Shoujo Machiaellianism anime) will be voicing Kotoha.

MyAnimeList describes the synopsis below:

“The “Colors” are three cute little girls who hang out together and say they’re protecting the peace of their city. They have lots of fun together, doing stuff like playing games, solving puzzles, and going to the zoo. This manga follows their largely happy daily life.”

The slice of life series began as a manga in July 2014. It was published in Dengeki Daioh with story and art by Katsuwo.

PV, Key Visual, and Character Designs for “Alice to Zouroku” TV Anime

The first promotional video for the Alice to Zouroku (Alice & Zouroku) anime adaptation has been released along with a new key visual and character designs for the additional cast!

The series’ cast includes Hitomi Owada as Sana Kashimura, Akio Otsuka as Zouroku Kashimura, Akari Kito as Yonaga Hinagiri, Natsumi Fujiwara as Asahi Hinagiri, Ami Koshimizu as Shizuku Ichijou, Aki Toyosaki as Sanae Kashimura, Masaya Matsukaze as Kouichi Kitou, Houchuu Ootsuka as Ryuu Naitou, Mamiko Noto as Miriam C Tachibana, and Yuuki Hirose as Noriko Yamada. The opening and ending themes are “Wonder Drive” by ORESAMA and “Chant” by toi toy toi.

Seven Seas Entertainment describes the synopsis as:

“A group of young girls possess a mysterious power known as “Alice’s Dream,” which gives them the ability to turn their thoughts into reality. Detained and experimented upon, these youths are locked away in secret until one of them manages to escape. Her name is Sana—a girl with the power to ignore the very laws of physics. A 30-second commercial has been released for the Boruto -Naruto Next Generations- television anime adaptation. The video previews the series’ opening theme, “Baton Road” by KANA-BOON, along with some of the animation.

The synopsis can be found below from Viz Media:

“Naruto was a young shinobi with an incorrigible knack for mischief. He achieved his dream to become the greatest ninja in the village and his face sits atop the Hokage monument. But this is not his story… A new generation of ninja are ready to take the stage, led by Naruto’s own son, Boruto!”

2nd PV Released for “Eromanga-Sensei” TV Anime

A second promotional video has been released for the upcoming Eromanga-sensei television anime adaptation! This 1:49 video previews the opening theme, six of the characters, and the dynamic between the two main siblings.

Eromanga-sensei began as a light novel series in 2013. It was written by Fushimi Tsukasa, well known for being the creator of the Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga nai (My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute) light novel series, and received art from Hiro Kanzaki, who did pieces for both series.

For those unfamiliar, MyAnimeList describes the plot below:

“The “new sibling romantic comedy” revolves around Masamune Izumi, a light novel author in high school. Masamune’s little sister is Sagiri, a shut-in girl who hasn’t left her room for an entire year. She even forces her brother to make and bring her meals when she stomps the floor. Masamune wants his sister to leave her room, because the two of them are each other’s only family.

Masamune’s novel illustrator, pen name “Eromanga,” draws extremely perverted drawings, and is very reliable. The first promotional video for the Renai Boukun anime adaptation has been released!

The promotional video shows off the series’ voice actors as well as the opening and ending themes, “Love? In Love? He is a tyrant!” by Wake Up, Girls! and “Suki wo Oshiete” by smileY inc. Kenshou Ono voices Seiji Aino, Yoshino Aoyama voices Guri, Manami Numakura voices Akane Hiyama, Yuki Nagano voices Yuzu Kichougasaki, and Yumi Hara voices Shikimi Shiramine. Renai Boukun began as a manga series published through the Comic Meteor website by Mihoshi Megane in May 2012.
